Order Free Meals – Delivered!

Angi’s Eats & Sweets and MirMade Treats have partnered to provide free delivered sacked breakfast and lunches to school aged children in our area.  Volunteer drivers will deliver food to homes each weekday that school is closed due to health concerns this spring, starting Monday March 16, 2020 – March 27, 2020.

Donation

Update March 17: we now have over 200 meals to deliver each weekday. Any amount you are able to donate to help offset our expenses will be greatly appreciated! Please use the link above to make a donation.

Update March 25: our meals (five per child) have already been delivered for the week!  We delivered over 1,000 meals Monday to homes around Harrisburg, Muddy, Eldorado, Carrier Mills-Stonefort, and Thompsonville!  It has been a joy to do this work for our community. Ordering has closed, however I have left the donation button above active.

THANK YOU to all of the volunteers, babysitters, and drivers who helped us deliver over 2,000 meals to children in the community over the last week! We also want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed toward the cost of the supplies and ingredients. We’re grateful for the support of our community and couldn’t have done it without you!

Please comment below with any issues or questions, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!

Thanks, Miranda

John 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Is this for Harrisburg kids only? Curious as I have not yet heard if my kids’ school is going to be providing meals. My kids attend Carrier Mills school, but we live in Stonefort. I tried to go grocery shopping yesterday but the store are out of most things I tried to purchase.

I think we’re covered for this week, but I might need it next week…will it be to late to sign up then? Hopefully stores will be stocked again by then. It’s not lack of funds, at this point, but lack of supply. I work in healthcare, so I’m there whenever and for however long I’m needed.

What kind of meal should we expect, Their are some parents wondering as food allergies and intolerance’s are watched closely at school and not so much with blind meals (meals made outside of the school with no prior knowledge of health issues).

Sorry about that! I’ve messaged you privately at your email address. Please let me know if you didn’t receive meals today. I hope I found the correct address. I left the bags at your door. Regards, Miranda
