Interior Paint Colors

This post is as much for myself as for anybody else (so I remember when it comes time to do touch-ups)!  😉

Double trouble at the paint store

For interior colors, back in 2016, Blaine gave me an eDesign Colour Consultation for my birthday.   It’s some of the best money we’ve spent on the project.  It gives peace of mind that our colors work well with our lighting, flooring, furniture, countertops, and other permanent surfaces.

An inspiration photo that I sent Maria during the consultation

After some back-and-forth via email and phone, along with many photos and links to specific products, our results were as follows:

MAIN LIVING AREA WALLS

Benjamin Moore Ballet White OC 9 (Eggshell). It’s a versatile warm ivory based greige.

Testing wall color

KITCHEN CABINETS, MAIN LIVING AREA TRIM & RADIATORS

Benjamin Moore White Dove OC 17 (Semi-Gloss).

BATHROOM WALLS

Benjamin Moore Moonshine OC 56 (Eggshell). A pale blue gray that pairs well with Carrara marble.

BATHROOM TRIM & RADIATORS

Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace OC 65 (Semi-Gloss). A true white to pair with bright white subway tile shower surrounds and Carrara marble floors.

MUDROOM SHIPLAP

Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee OC 45 (Semi-Gloss).

MUDROOM BEAD BOARD CEILING

Behr Streetwise (Semi-Gloss).

ALL OTHER CEILINGS

Benjamin Moore Simply White OC 117 (Semi-Gloss). Yes, I chose semi-gloss sheen to bounce light off our plastered ceilings!
