Hill Country

I just got back from a week-long trip with my mom and sister to the Texas Hill Country for a little R&R. This was the longest uninterrupted time I’ve spent with my mom and sis since moving away from home 10 years ago.  We talked, shopped, ate, laughed, slept-in and enjoyed every minute!

Leftovers

Yesterday was a good day for a drive in the country.

The destination was Leftovers Antiques & Home Mercantile in Brenham, Texas. This weekend is the last of their Warehouse Sale. They’re located about an hour and a half west of Houston – about halfway to Austin. And it’s definitely worth the drive, especially on a gorgeous spring day with the windows down and dogs in tow.  🙂 Continue reading
